A variety of
technologies are used to manufacture suspension
assemblies. These include, but are not limited to:
• Photo-Chemical Etching to produce burr-free
.002" stainless steel blanks • Precision Forming to
form mechanical features • Laser Welding to join the
components • Automated Adjust technologies to measure
and form the suspension to meet
demanding tolerances • Manufacturing of precision
multi layer electrical circuits for
suspension assemblies utilizing an additive process
consisting of PI casting on roll metal,
sputtering of CU, CU plating, PI and
metal etching methodologies.
A large portion of
the equipment that we use is developed in house and is
proprietary to MPT and/or our development partners. Our
process must be constantly adapted and refined to
respond to new suspension features and technology
platforms as they are being developed.
