Position Facility Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for carrying Facility Project through making conceptual / engineering design, estimate budget, managing project to be met company requirement in term of engineering, quantity, quality and timing.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Make engineering designs for Mechanical utility supply systems in term of calculation and engineering specification.
  • Supervise project according to assignment to meet engineering specification and company requirement.
  • Co-ordinate with internal customers about new requirements and plan jobs assigned by immediate or higher levels.
  • Estimate project cost and verify bill of materials of assigned project.
  • Study and find out engineering data for problem solving and conduct feasibility project.
  • Advice and develop all Fac.staffs of facility project and general support.
  • Advice and guide of Facility supervisor and technician to analyze mechanical issue and engineering knowledge.
  • Energy conservation management and report to be complied with local legal.
  • Corrective and equipment planning to support the most of Facility project work.
  • Performs other and related work as assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Required:       Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Skill Required:                Good to speak, listen and write in English

Experience:                 Direct experience at least 2 years

 

Director – Customer Focus Team

Responsible for leading customer focused Product Engineering and quality teams.   Including coordinating and monitor customer activities, products, and programs.

Act as primary point of contact for product and quality related functions and general communications.

Work with the MPT internal groups to meet the program/product objectives from NPI to EOL to ensure total customer satisfaction (Cost, Quality, Technical Support and Delivery).

Qualification -    Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering

-          5 years HDD industry of experience

-          Strong management skill, self confident, excellent problems solving and analytical skills,

-      Effective communicator both Thai and English.

 

Position Senior Manager Product Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Program Management

·         Responsible for SGT customer products and overall management responsibility for all programs.

·         Responsible for ensuring that lessons learned on previous programs do not get repeated on new programs

·         Responsible for factory communication to SGT customer in US and Thailand for all SGT programs

·         Responsible to effectively communicate through-out MPT cross functional teams on relevant program issues to assure timely and accurate completion at overseas and US facilities.

·         Responsible to provide clear, timely and accurate information to all Seagate groups regarding all pertinent technical issues.

·         Responsible to manage overall NPI program schedule, risks, qualification, approval & product launch

·         Responsible to ensure all customer program requests are answered (same day response) and closed as fast as possible.

·         Responsible for new product introduction into factory via kick-off meeting

·         Responsible to qualify a liability report when program cancellation.

Product Engineering Management

·         Responsible for managing product engineering department

·         Responsible for annual performance reviews

·         Responsible for resolving resource and/or priority conflicts within the factory for SGT NPI programs

·         Responsible for ensuring all actions & tasks have someone accountable

NPI Schedule Management

·         Responsible for FCS commitment & on time delivery for all new programs, design changes, eval orders

·         Responsible for NPI CAP commitment for 1st prototype suspension line

 

Engineering Issues and GAP Closure

·         Responsible to manage and close all DFM & NUDs with SGT & MPT internal groups

·         Responsible for DFSS improvement plan

·         Responsible for driving program issues to closure

 

DFM / Data Packages

·         Responsible for on time delivery of product DVT & FA data packages

·         Responsible for on time delivery of evaluation data packages

·         Responsible for accuracy of all data packages provided to customer

·         Responsible to provide direction to test department for program priorities (to ensure testing gets completed lining up to our commitment)

Product Performance

  • Responsible for first line optimization (ensure line is optimized & maintain it optimized)
  • Responsible for ensuring product meets SGT requirements
  • Responsible for factory RRR weekly reviews
  • Responsible for customer RRR reviews

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Required:      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Skill Required:              

·         Understanding in resonance testing and the resonance results

·         Coordination skills

·         Basic understanding of suspensions and relationship to disk drives

·         SPC, DOE knowledge is a plus

·         Good communication in English (written and oral)

·         Must have good attention to detail, problem solving skills

·         Computer literacy: Power-point, Minitab, Excel, CAD, project

Experience:                  5-10 years.

 

Product Engineer / Sr. Product Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Responsibility

  • Responsible to support Program Engineer for assigned customer programs and all customer requests
  • Responsible for generating program kick-off meeting package
  • Responsible to continuously follow up on all misc customer requests (test samples, data request, etc)


NPI Schedules:

  • Responsible to update new product checklist for each step of the FCS from start to finish.
  • Responsible to generate and maintain program package for FCS publishing daily update to internal team leading up to FCS delivery
  • Responsible to generate special shipment information (for special evals and FCS shipment)
  • Responsible to manage timeline for all special evaluations providing daily update leading up to sample Delivery


Data Packages:

  • Responsible for miscellaneous requests and taking various pictures of parts, tools, processes, etc.
  • Responsible for crunching data to support product FA data packages, evaluation data packages, sample build data packages
  • Responsible for continuous follow up on all testing data to support FA & DVT data packages


Dwg / DFM / Documentation :

  • Responsible for product change management documentation for all customer program phases (BOM, ECO, ECR,CRR)
  • Responsible for compiling factory DFM into standard format for product management review
  • Responsible for thoroughly checking all component and product dwgs 100% compliance between customer and MPT prints
  • Responsible to maintain p/n history matrix (including all versions)
  • Responsible to organize program book (including all version data pkg’s, NPD phase medelling)


Engineering Issues / GAP closure:

  • Responsible to track all customer issues and continuously follow up with internal teams on the status of every action defined in our plan. Need to summarize and provide daily update highlighting any issues or delays, All issues need to be followed until closed.


Product Optimization / Performance:

  • FRF evaluations/optimization, responsible to overlay FRF plots and summarize raw data for all evals.
  • Responsible for FRF weekly report including KPIV tracking data


Misc

  • Responsible to retain special evaluation samples (keep samples clearly labeled with condition, date, etc)
  • Responsible to generate process flow presentation (for customer visits)
  • Responsible to continuously follow up with testing group for any special testing requests.

JOB SUMMARY :

The CMT Manager will have a background in Supply Chain Management. The role requires a proactive work ethic, relationship building skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies for suspension components.
  • Strategic price negotiation.
  • Interacting with Product Management, Engineering and Program Management for the new product development strategy and implementation, predictable availability and industry leadership in quality.
  • Manage forecast and associated planning and execution.
  • Interface with supplier and internal cross functional teams to ensure execution of plans and support business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Required:       Degree in engineering

Skill Required:

Mechanical Design Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Work using mechanical skill for product design/dfm and product analysys using finite element analysis tool to characterize new product design and virtual optimization , npi engineering and process engineering sensitivity analysis, own close loop model-to-measured, tolerance stack up analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform product design using autocad/solid work for drafting, dfm
  • Perform product analysis by using finite element analysis tools
  • Work with electrical design engineer
  • Process modeling in support of tool design and npi process engineer
  • Assist problem solving activities of production related to product performance
  • Attend new product and technical engineering problem solving meetings
  • Perform tolerance stack up anasysis and provide report
  • Perform failure analysis on failure hga, hsa and provide report

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Skill Required:

  • Knowledge in mechanical and mechanism theory
  • Knowledge in suspension and HDD characteristic
  • Knowledge in 2D, 3D AutoCAD, Solid Work
  • Knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Skill Special:

  • Knowledge in GD&T and Tolerance Stack up Analysis

Position Tooling Design Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

Perform all design related activities in Tool design department in co-ordination with superior to ensure all design commitments and requirements meet or exceed department objectives and executed smoothly. Responsible for accurate and optimal designs of tooling / metrology fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Receive job and work instructions from immediate superior and perform to meet the requirements.
  • Participate in conceptual and final design reviews.
  • Ensure 100% manufacturability, quality and accuracy of drawing within existing entitlement of lead times.
  • Organizes and maintain a backup system of all existing drawings.
  • Actively participates in tool fabrication, debugging and FA process.
  • Provide timely update and proper feed back to superior in all design activities.
  • Initiate improvement plans and projects in the tool and fixtures.
  • Keep update the technical knowledge in design software and all type of tooling and fixtures.
  • Maintain work area safety and disciplines.
  • Keep record of all design job and tool history file for future reference.
  • Work in close relation with collogues in the section and other related departments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education Required:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or

·         Post Diploma in Tool design / Tool and Die Engineering.

Skill Required:    

·         Effective communication and leadership skills.

·         CAD/CAM, Fluency in written and spoken English.

·         Basic knowledge of tool manufacturing process.

Senior Officer HR & Admin

JOB SUMMARY :

  • Responsible for administrations functions MPT Thailand operations in regard with the committees that related to our business requirement aspects such as Electronics Industry Code of Conduct (EICC) implementation, Disciplinary management Committed, in accordance with TDK Corporation and other assignment in HR & Administration Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting management in the implementation of activities related to TDK Corporation directions such as Corporate, corporate principle, Corporate Social Responsibilities – CSR, Ethics in the Business of TDK to MPT employees, and so on.
  • Manage and organize the committees meeting includes preparation of corporate report for MPT Management reviews
  • Supporting management in conducting the Ethic activities to company with the Law and EICC statement and other concern in ethics.
  • Supporting of management at all departments any projects and other requirements based on TDK Corporation matters
  • Assist in monitoring the compliances og any matters under her/his responsibilities base on the company directions/policies
  • Translating the company documents (policies, procedures, work instructions, and so on) into English, Thai and Japanese languages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related fields or Master’s Degree is preferable


Skill Required:

  • This position requires an experienced administrative professional capable of managing a wide range of activities for a fast paced, highly visible, executive department.
  • Good command of Japanese, English and computer literacy


Experience:

  • Have 2-5 years of progressively responsible executive secretarial or administrative experiences within a corporate staff department; familiarity with operations and international experience a plus. .
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications skills, excellent command of the Japanese, English language and vocabulary.
  • Have at least 2 years experience in Japanese business
